i wasn't loving it at first, but after listening all weekend, i am more in love.

memorial day

we went and decorated graves for memorial day like we always do.

aren't my parents just so cute?! I love them dearly!

we visited 2 cemeteries this weekend and also went out to the cabin, my favorite place on earth! we did the spring cleaning (raked pine needles, cleaned up sticks, weed wacked, Lysoled the heck out of the cabin, cleaned the carpets, floors, bathroom, kitchen, etc)

It was a nice little getaway and fun to be with my fam!

Then we had a BBQ at my aunties house. I'm so blessed with an amazing and fun family!

total eclipse of the sun...

the solar eclipse happened on Sunday.
So what did the fam do? Stood outside and indirectly looked at the sun...it was a cool experience and I loved it.

I stared for a second and I think my retinas got burned.

My brother brilliantly pointed out that you could see the eclipse in the windows reflection so everyone started looking and taking photos (hence the photo)

temple square cleanup

so I'm going to admit, I have been bad at blogging lately...mainly because I'm lazy. I'm not going to blame it on anything else. I've been busy working as well, living life, dating, serving, etc.

i have been updating via my blogger app (thank you iPhone)

Plus I feel like no one really cares to know what's going down in Ashley world but...Ashley! Ha!

I had the chance to go to the SLC temple grounds and help dig up the old flower beds and prepared them for summer/fall.

It was a lot of fun, lots of spiders, and lots of sunshine. It was a good day!

Life has been very good to me lately. I have some exciting news too...but I'll share that a little bit later :)

so I have been debating cutting my hair for about a month or so now...and on Saturday I took the plunge.

my friend Andi, who is an amazing hair lady by the way, chopped it for me! we took off 8 inches in the back and left the front longer. I love my new hair do and am so happy it's healthy and short for summer! So much fun!

delayed weekend

my weekend was peachy keen...filled with a blind date, 12:30 AM Walmart runs with my roomies, hanging with my brother, new baby in the family, new shoes, and just having fun! :)

temple tuesday

My goal is to go to the Provo, Utah LDS temple once a week on Tuesdays...I'll be taking a photo for every time I go...so far I have 2 photos :)

cinco de mayo

My cinco de mayo was quite fun!!
We had a huge party at the park and so many people showed up!

I love my friends! We always have a good time! And yes, that man posing is my brother! He's single ladies!!
