Microdermabrasion

So, today I had my first ever experience with any elective procedure... I had microdermabrasion done! And it was WONDERFUL! I was a tad nervous when I have heard so many horror stories of how painful it is...but it was everything, but painful! My pores were vaccum sucked out today and my skin is now glowing, and feels baby soft!! I recommend this procedure to ANYONE looking for a little pick-me-up regimne. :)

Life is a gift!

I just wanted to write down my thoughts this evening... And yes, I may be crazy, but it's just who I am!

First of all, I just want to say how grateful I am for good influences in my life. I have amazing parents who are such examples to me! They are so selfless and giving to others and I wish to be more like them. I also have amazing siblings who teach me small lessons daily. My sister teaches me to appreciate the finer things in life, a brother who teaches me to learn more about the world around me, and another brother who teaches me that I need to be kind to all I come in contact with.

I am also blessed to have incredible friends who make me want to be a better person. I have amazing friends who are so loving and happy and they just make me happy! Friends make me want to be a better person and give me strength to do so! I am so grateful for my girls (and guys) you know who you are! I love you!

I also want to share how grateful and happy I am for the gospel of Jesus Christ in my life. Seriously, I love the gospel so much and I do not know where I would be without it (nor do I want to know where I would be...) I love the gospel and I also love my Savior, Jesus Christ, very much. I know that without him in my life, I am nothing and I would be miserable without him. I treasure my testimony and my membership in the church! And I just thought I would express my thoughts and feelings tonight...

I am such a lucky girl! :)

The Month of HOT

The girls have had a fun month... Shippen had a birthday party up the canyon!! It was pretty fun - and we also went to Comedy Sportz for AGNO (a Girls Night Out)...it was pretty fun!! :) We always have fun together! I love my friends!! <3 <3 <3

4th of July!

For the holiday weekend the family went to the Brown Cabin in the Uintahs... We had so much fun sleeping, eating, playing games, fishing, hiking, but most of all, being together!! :) I love my family so much! Here are some photos from the trip!

First off, let me just be the first to say how terrible I have been at blogging...perhaps I can redeem myself and catch up a little bit! A lot has gone on the past few weeks, and I would just like to share what has been going on!




First, I had the chance to babysit the Parkin kids while their parents went outta town. Can I just say that I LOVE these kids! Taylor and Addi are adoRaBLE and so much fun to take care of!




Allen also graduated from Springville High School on May 28th, 2008! Way to go Allen! He is such a good example to me and such an intelligent guy! I am so proud of him and I love him so much!
