No no, I'm not swearing. I am not that upset today. Infact, today has been a great Monday! But that's beside the point. You wanna know what an OPAL DAM is, huh?
Well, today in class we got to practice doing opal dams on each other. An opal dam is a protective barrier for a patients gums when they come into the dental office and undergo an extremely intense bleach session. We've gotta protect the soft gingival tissues somehow, right?
So I was able to do this little procedure on TaeCee. I told her after it was cured that her gums looked like Edward Cullens glistening/sparkly skin. SPARKLY....see!!
I love teeth, and I love what I am doing with my life right now. Yeah, my life pretty much rocks!!
I know most girls have their entire weddings planned out by the time they're 12 years old, but not me.
I've never been one to dream up the grand affair down to the little details. That's just not me. I'm abnormal I suppose. Something strange happened to me the other day though, I was listening to my favorite new CD and a song came on...and I fell in love with it. And I've decided it's going to be on my wedding video (if I even have a wedding video).
Or this song at least has to be me and my SO's (significant other) song.
It's the bees knees. It's so mushy and sweet. It's what love should be. Love should be a good thing. It's the perfect duet. It's sappy. It's PERFECT.
WHEN YOU GOT A GOOD THING Everybody keeps telling me I'm such a lucky man, Looking at you standing there I know I am. Barefooted beauty with eyes that blue, sunshine sure looks good on you, I swear.
Oh I can't believe I finally found ya baby, Happy ever after after all this time. Oh there's gonna be some ups and downs, But with you to wrap my arms around, I'm fine.
Chorus: So baby hold on tight, and don't let go. Hold on to the love we're making, Cause baby when the ground starts shaking you gotta know, When you got a good thing.
You know you keep on bringing out the best in me, And I need you now even more than the air I breathe.
You can make me laugh when I wanna cry, This will last forever I just know. I know.
So baby hold on tight, and don't let go. Hold on to the love we're making, Cause baby when the ground starts shaking you gotta know, When you got a good thing.
We got a good thing baby, woah.
So hold on tight, baby don't let go. Hold on to the love we're making, Cause baby when the ground starts shaking you gotta know, Oh you gotta know, oh you gotta know, you gotta know, When you got a good thing.
Ooooh ohh ohh.
We got a good thing, baby,
Woah oh oh
Now I just gotta find myself a SO, then I can put the song to good use

Ash and I decided to take a little vacation - a MUCH NEEDED vacation that is!! We are headed off into the glorious sun for a fun filled week in St. George/Zion National Park/Vegas and whatever else comes our way!
Yup, I admitted it. I have an addiction to carbs. It's not like its a bad thing, at least I am healthy...or so I thought.
Last week I got this great idea to eat the healthiest I ever have in my entire life. Yup, I did. I have become somewhat of a gym rat and I decided that working out wasn't cutting the mustard (or the chocolate cake) so I decided to go "vegan."
Well, partly Vegan. You see, there is this great little change of eating called the "Alkaline change" and I (along with my momma) have been eating this way for a week now. And I feel GREAT!
Basically, this change of eating consists of cutting out gluten, dairy, and red meats. It was hard for the first few days, but I now feel 100% healthier and much better. I have more energy, I feel great, and my SKIN looks so amazing. Oh yeah, and my little gut has started to shrink. :)
For breakfast this morning I: -juiced some carrots -ate some eggs with garlic/onions and spinach leaves -drank my 2 tsp. of organic apple-cider vinegar/water combo
For lunch: -I made a stuffed gluten-free pita -sprouts, tomatoes, avocados, lettuce, and grilled chicken -1 apple -3 rings of dried pineapple
Snacks: -1 banana -a baggie of granola/dried coconut combo -dried apricots -lots and LOTS of WATER!
