opal dam

No no, I'm not swearing. I am not that upset today. Infact, today has been a great Monday! But that's beside the point. You wanna know what an OPAL DAM is, huh?

Well, today in class we got to practice doing opal dams on each other.
An opal dam is a protective barrier for a patients gums when they come into the dental office and undergo an extremely intense bleach session. We've gotta protect the soft gingival tissues somehow, right?

So I was able to do this little procedure on TaeCee. I told her after it was cured that her gums looked like Edward Cullens glistening/sparkly skin.
SPARKLY....see!!

I love teeth, and I love what I am doing with my life right now. Yeah, my life pretty much rocks!!
