andi is an amazing lady.

i am so thankful for a best friend like her.

andi is going to be serving an LDS mission!

i am so excited for her and so proud of her.

we got to go to the LDS temple with her a few weeks back and it was such a beautiful day.

i am so thankful for temples and the blessings found there.

we, as an LDS people, are blessed to have temples on the earth.

literally, for me, the temple is heaven on earth.

has it truly been almost 1 month to the day that i haven't posted?
what is this blog coming to?!

i have missed the blogging world, but then again, not really.
it's so freeing to not have to stress out about blogging.

i still love reading everyone's blogs, but i haven't made time to comment.
i am so sorry my dear friends.

God's grace.

i am a happy lady.

God is full of grace, mercy, truth, and love.

i have been blessed with a wonderful family.

fabulous friends.

i have a wonderful job, which i love.

i love my roommates.

i am thankful for change.

there are some exciting changes coming up in my life and i am looking forward to those.

i have been struggling a little bit with trust God, but i had a great convo with a dear friend

who told me to give all my worries and stresses up to the Lord.

May I just say that it works.

God is so wonderful. 

He takes care of me and my little individual needs.

I know God knows me and my name.

I am so thankful for my religion and the principles and doctrine it teaches.

i am looking forward to becoming a better version of myself.

thanks be to God for His grace, mercy, goodness, love, trust, and friendship.

what happens when you stop caring/worrying about your looks....

you gain so much weight that you become the fattest you've ever been in your entire life.

this is the point i was at two weeks ago.  i realized i have gained so much weight as of late 

because i have just stopped working out. that's why i started training at energyexplosion 

i haven't been blogging because work consumes my life and the last thing i've wanted to do when i get home from work is get on another computer and blog. 

thankfully, a blog is a type of journaling for me.  and i also feel like it helps me be accountable to strangers.  somehow i have that mindset that so many people care about me and my life and what i am doing that if i blog about my weight loss and fitness journey, some people will cheer me on and expect my reports. 

(false. but i don't care - it makes me feel like i have an audience who are expecting great things from me)

well, here goes nothing people.

what i am doing to get healthy:

- 2x a week - personal training sessions

- everyday - tracking my calories on myfitnesspal (want to be friends?! add me: ashleywarner88)

- making healthy lunches - no eating out

- exercising on my own 3x's a week (besides personal training)

- drinking lots of water

- being accountable to my support system of aunts, friends, and now my blog

i can do this!  my birthday present to me (3 months away) is going to be a thinner, healthier, happier me.

can't wait.

the brother had to go to the andy warhol exhibit going on at the BYU Museum of Art last weekend and he invited me to go with him.

I am so glad i got to go - it was so fun.

i love art and i enjoy seeing it in person even more.

i snapped a few photos (i wasn't supposed to...uh oh) but it was fun regardless.

then we spent a good 20 minutes in the gift shop reading the museum books.

gotta love it, huh?

Glease (yes, glease)

one of my favorite musical movies: Grease.

a tv show i used to love to watch on tv: Glee.

Mix the 2 together and you get Glease.

now, let me tell you - i stopped watching Glee awhile ago, but when i heard they were doing Grease - I had to jump on spotify and check it out.

i love the songs.  so much that i was sitting at my desk at work and was singing to myself.

i think my boss is going to fire me for being a horrible singer.
