lately I've been in a headband mood...maybe because I am too lazy to fix my hairs.
oh well.

i am in love with my new purple sweater I bought over the weekend.
i love it so much that I might just wear it next week in VEGAS.

Yes, thats right folks, I'm going out of town.
for almost a week.
Its spring break, and you know what that means...

My sweet friend Adri shared this with me the other day.  She actually was speaking in church before she gets married next week.  This little "letter" was a part of her talk.
I cried when she read this.

You might not know me yet and i'm not sure I know who you are either, but you and I will be in love someday.


I think about you all the time. I wonder about what you look like, what things you like to do, and what it is about you that will make me fall in love with you when I find you.


However, there are a few things that I know about you already. I know that you are a faithful daughter of our Heavenly Father and that you have a testimony of the gospel.


I know that the temple marriage is one of your goals and you don't want to settle for less. I know that you are sweet and kind and you are feminine and fun loving.


Although you like to laugh and have a good time, I know you look at life seriously. Dream Girl, I am not interested in the girl who gives her lips freely or the girl who is immodest


in dress and conduct. I'm not interested in the girl who changes her standards to fit her company, the girl who can't see anything wrong with an occasional cigarette, an occasional drink, or an occasional bout of immorality.


I'm not looking for you among questionable company. I'm not looking for you at shady parties because you are not there.


Neither of us are perfect, yet we will love each other for what we want to be as well as what we are.


And when we both see eye to eye we will kneel hand in hand and seek the inspirations of the Father. There will not be many tomorrows until we find each other. I'm waiting anxiously

well, I guess I should break the news to my favorite blogglies...
the BF and I decided to stop dating.

I was really sad at first, but then I realized what a blessing in disguise it was.
I learned a lot from R in the few short weeks we dated.
I learned a lot about myself, and realized that I need to be more selfish and work on my own issues in life.

I feel so happy today.
Is that weird or what?

I have relied a TON on my faith the past few days.
I've prayed my heart out.
Went and served at the Provo LDS temple on Saturday as well as this morning.

I feel so much peace and happiness with what has transpired the past few days in my life.


Life is good.

The HEART OF LIFE IS GOOD...thank you Johnny boy.

You're still my favorite man in this world.

I have been a pretty busy lady.

i've been dating a great guy, so that keeps me busy.
i successfully hosted a speed dating activity (on monday. high stress. whew, glad its over)
my grandfather is back in the hospital again.
i've been working overtime hours this week. (hooray money)
i've been just a busy little bee!

but life is great!

How have you been readers?  I miss the blogging world.  I promise to return soon, oh so very soon.

In the meantime, I promised my friend Shay a picture of R and I....and, well I kinda have failed miserably at this.  But last weekend we made chocolate covered cinnamon bears so here is a picture of that.

this was the best idea ever (good job Ry!)

We bought a package of cinnamon bears, a Lindt milk chocolate bar, and voila!

they were soooo delish. 

this is something I recommend doing reader.

yup, sharu sharu.
the owner told us it means 'shave shave' in Japanese...interesting, eh?
Ryun took me to this awesome restaurant last weekend.

Basically they bring out this propane stove and set the bowl/dish thingy on top of the flame.  The bowl part of the dish is filled with broth and then around the bowl are different items you can cook: scallions, noodles, red peppers, cabbage, tofu, shrimp, beef, sprouts, onions, raddish's, and oysters.

I'm not a huge seafood fan, but I actually ate a scallion and one shrimp.
My favorite part was the red chili sauce with the tofu and noodles.
oh, and the company wasn't too bad either! :)

Last night was date #2 with R.

It was a simple date.

He came to my house and we went for a walk.

It was the perfect Valentine's date.

We laughed.

We confided in each other.

I giggled at him.

He smiled at me.

I think I am falling for him.

but I don't want to jinx anything.

I will let you in on a little secret though,

"never settle for anything less than butterflies"

I'm so glad I've found someone like R.
