i feel blessed to have great friends, even if it is my dear bloglies.

i am very fortunate.

i am feeling much better as i am writing this.

who better to make me feel happier than my own dad.

he took me to my favorite place tonight.

joe bandidos.

(yeah, we're pretty much 'regulars' at this joint.)

we talked and he gave me some profound words of wisdom.

he gently reminded me that i need to let go of my own problems

and get out and help others who are worse off than me.

he told me i need to work at improving myself.

things happen for a reason and that being a 20-something isn't always easy.

life is tough.

but guess what else he told me

got me to thinking.  this life wasn't meant to be easy.

even though life is 'tough' because i'm feeling sorry for myself, there is

someone out there who is worse off than me.

i am blessed because of all the goodness God has granted me in this life.

that right there makes me feel much better and i know that things

happen in life for a greater reason than i'm suppose to even understand.

i want to thank you all again for your sweet comments, texts, facebook messages, emails, etc.

i feel loved. and am grateful for all that i have been blessed with.
