being mormon, we have leaders that are asked to serve
from our neighborhoods. just normal every-day people.
well, my dad was called to be a bishop of a YSA (young single adult) singles ward (organization of young single adults in a surrounding neighborhood).
anyway, he was put in on Sunday.
it was a great day, full of the spirit, memories, and lots of extended family members visting and congratulating my daddy.
my mom and i made my dad a gluten-free chocolate cake and decorated it like so:
(go cougars!)
i am so proud of my daddy and am thankful for his wonderful example to me.
he is a great man.

I think its amazing that you have a dad who is such a wonderful priesthood holder! Such a blessing! What a fun couple years he is going to have, ha!

How exciting!! He's going to love this calling so much! Eric and I keep in close contact with our ysa bishop and his family. We just loved them so much!
