my uncle rented this over the weekend for a family party.
24-feet of inflatable double water slide goodness.
and ya know the saying, "it's always fun and games til someone gets hurt"
well someone got hurt.
can you guess who?
...it was ME.
i am the clumsiest person to ever live.
i went down this several times racing my uncles and cousins.
then i went down one fatal time and my legs went over my shoulders causing
severe pain in my neck and back.
i laid in bed all day yesterday and had some good time to read.
oh yeah, and watch Shark Week
who knew getting injured could be so...fun? haha
i would do it all over again actually.
my uncle always does crazy stuff like this.
we have a crazy family, but i love 'em!

Well look at you having such an awesome attitude about being hurt! I get a hangnail and cry...haha, not really but kinda... That looks so fun!
Sorry to hear about your accident Ashley!
We had a nice weekend at the lake visiting with old friends from Florida. (Hadn't seen them since 2006). Had an incident with waverunner. Our friend accidentally ran over it the tow rope and it got caught up in the intake valve and rendered the waverunner OOC (out of commission). Oops! My DH and our friend managed to remove the rope and fix the waverunner. Also had someone cut in front of us at the marina for fuel. Wasn't too happy about that as it was clear our boat and waverunner were there first. Turned out it was the girlfriend of the marina boy/gas attendant. Special privileges I guess. Anyhoo, there's more to the story but let's suffice it to say that there was an immediate "you reap what you sow" moment that ensued! ;)

I'm so sorry you got hurt! however, you got hurt in a totally B.A. way, so I hope that is some consolation. Plus, you got to enjoy some Shark Week. Bright side! :)
