as I was driving to get my 32 oz. cherry coke (mmm delish) this song came on the radio, on my country radio station nonetheless, I heard this song by Miss Carrie Underwood "Temporary Home"

The last part of the lyrics about the old man reminded me of my grandpa and the tears just started flowing.  Take the 5:01 minutes out of your day to listen to this song.
Life is too short to not embrace the ones you love, take a minute to help others out, or to be kind to a complete stranger.
